Default Advice to go to the Radio City Draft?

Hey guys im not sure whether or not to head down the radio city for the draft. Im only 3 hours away but ive never been to one nor do i know how worthy it is to go to just for the first night.

I know i got to get a bracelet starting at 10 pm wednesday night then get tickets the next day but it doesnt say you have to purchase them is that correct?

i guess im just seeing if anyone who has gone can tell me if its worth it and what i should do to get in.

What I understand is that in order to go the first night, you had to attend the final rounds last year. Of course the first night is most popular, so they require you to attend a weekend day to get tickets for the first day.

It's AWFUL - I've been to it twice.

If you love standing in line, being bored in between picks, and generally just sitting around then go.

Let me put it this way - I passed up a Yankees game on a beautiful day to attend 3 years ago - biggest mistake ever.

If you lived in the city then that's all fine and good because you can just chalk it up to a regular day. If you'd have to make a trip, or you're there on vacation, it's a total waste.

Keep in mind both times I went was the Saturday/Sunday event though - not the Thursday/Friday etc...

I've gone 4 years in a row now. In 2008, they also had the NFL experience where you could get autographs (Leon Washington) and do a few NFL drills, but they stopped that. Tickets are always free and are first come first serve. For the first round, you typically have to wait in line all morning to get in. The second day, you can usually just walk up and in.
