Default What is the best Adrian Peterson Rookie Card?

I am looking at picking up a base Adrian Peterson Rookie card and I wanted your opinions on which one would be the best card to pick up. I am looking for a base rookie card; since I already have a jersey auto and I am trying to stay away from inserts. I have been looking at the Topps Chrome rookie and I like it, but I wanted everyone's opinions on whether this is the best pure rookie card or if there is one that I am missing that is better. So have at it, I would love to hear your thoughts

Topps/bowman chrome have the best long term value for a base low end rookie. Topps has slightly higher value due to shorter printing.

Hmm, cool. Do you all happen to have a scan or can you post a link for one? I've also had the same question, thanks!

Didn't see any complete sold ones. No one seems to follow me on this one, however it is limited to 599 and I believe they sell for more than the others when they get listed in an auction stile. To each their own though.

I like the look of Elite, I just wish that they were in their pro unis. They are nice cards in with great numbering, but I am a Vikings fan, not a sooners fan. Just my 2 cents

Best Pure RC would be his SPA Rookie Patch Auto. 2nd would be the Topps Chrome.

Thanks guys for all your feedback, I went ahead and got a topps chrome RC for the PC. I couldn't help myself and I picked up a Topps Finest base RC and a Co-Signers base RC (I know, I know, terrible product). One more question, Score Select, I am watching a base PSA 9 RC /599 for around $20, is it worth it, or should I wait and bid, or just ignore Select and be happy?

If you are trying to get one of everything then that's not a bad buy. Personally I would not get it. I'd try and upgrade to a Topps RC refractor or graded version.

Default 2007 panini adrian peterson rookie gridiron gems auto jersey 1/1

Isn't the 2007 panini Adrian Peterson rookie gridiron gems auto 1/1 his most valuable card? I own it and it is in mint condition but appears to be the 1/1. How much is it worth, and is it the most valuable? It should be

That was quite the bump. And in my opinion a shield auto or 1/1 exquisite auto would be much more valuable than anything else.
