Yes, perceived, perceived, perceived. Why is an Aaron Rodgers card numbered 12/25 worth more than than the 13/25? Because some people perceive that the jersey # card is worth more. Is it more rare? Absolutely not. Should it be worth more? That is all up to the perception of the buyer. Personally, I won't buy graded cards. End of story. So is a graded card really worth more? Since I wouldn't pay a penny for them, they are worthless to me. Any extra value is a perceived value, as it is with most variables that cards have.

Sounds good. You spend $100 more than me on the graded cards, I will save $100 on the raw ones, and we are both happy. Sweet!

You need a good explanation as to why I feel the way I do? This article couldn't be more perfect. The grading industry is a BUSINESS, and there is absolutely no regulations in it. The companies have tremendous conflicts of interest when being paid by customers to grade cards.

Not really familiar with SV when it comes to grades but considering the argument of grading a 1/1 how much of a difference does .5 make?

If graded I think it would affect the value more, negatively, if it were to grade below a 9 and positively if it were to grade a 10, than it would change the value between a 9 and a 9.5. But, if graded, it's always nice to see a 9.5 especially if it is a 1/1. All of this is only if the card is graded.

I got this Ultra Pro Case from my LCS a while back when I traded Eric for the Rainbow. It has recessed pockets for the cards so they arent just squished together by the plastic.

They havent made one with pockets recessed deep enough for anything thicker than 35 - maybe 55pt stock cards. At least not what Ive seen.

Well how about this, go look up Aaron Rodgers SPA 12/99 and his Exquisite 12/199 and tell me if they sell for the same price as any other one on the market? That should answer your question, this has been proven again not by me, but the marketplace. And the jsy# card is rarer than any other card in that particular print run, that's common sense, not perception. And should it be worth more is a question which has no basis in reality. It has been proven by past sales that it is worth more and is not a perception to anyone other than yourself.

Graded cards are worth more, do some research.

I voted to leave it in the BGS case.

However, I would never recomend getting superfractors graded.

Because it is already a 1 of 1. You really aren't helping the value even when they grade a 9.5

and if they grade a 8.5 or less, then you actully can hurt the value of the card.
