The only thing I can think of is there are three "I"s in West Virginia and there are ten of each.

My guess is that one of them, the clear one that you can actually see, spells 'west virginia' and the other spells 'mountianeers'. There is a Slaton college letterman as well as a "college nickname" letterman. The thing I always wonder about is how a letterman can be 1/1 if a a player has two of that letter in his name. For instance, McFadden, is the 'd' really a 1/1 if there are two 'd's in his name? These are the things that keep me up at night.
