It's like a run on a bank, lol...

We as a forum should create a run on some product...just horde it all.

Looks like either some one messing with the seller or him shill bidding. The last 3 bidders, over multiple times were e***e, x***c, and d***p............. way to similar screen names for something not to be up

But unless his "Shill Bidder" won the auction, someone else would have had to bid that high to win it. I don't see what good it would do to shill bid that high. Obviously he's not going to sell it to that person for that price...Maybe the bidder(s) are psychic and know that there are four SP's in the box...

People do this all the time. I was watching a Devin Thomas RC auto from Bowman Chrome /150 (the green version). I thought it would cost under $10 then I look and it fetched around $50!!! I got his gold ref auto for $25. Then I bought the same green version auto for $7 dlvd. So that box is just someone bidding up there item.

Its because the sticker on the box is on the right side. Almost 99 percent of time with this product, the sticker is on the right. This might seem insignificant to some of you, but these boxes are hand done. Most of the time when there is an error like that, or even when the sticker is completely off centered, there is something really good inside. I've been following that rule with 2 boxes and pulled a mcfadden regular in one, and a mcfadden college sp, with 3 diff sps

celtic..how can it be on the on the right, and then 99% of the time be on the right, and it be an error?

So your saying if the sticker is off tilt. It is most likely a loaded or better box?

Is this for all boxes? Every year or just for 08? Or only hand colated boxes like Exquisite,NT,Contenders?

Let us know what you know. I would like to try to see if it works at my LCS.

Because if you look at the sellers other auctions. He uses the same picture for all the Contenders auctions he has. Meaning what are the odds you will end up with that very box?

This is ridiculous there is no special colation by sticker placement. Rule??? 2 boxes???

On another note. the box in question well the second place guy (shill bidder) has retracted 76 bids in the last 6 months That should tell you something about this, 76!!! probably shill bid near end of auctions, then was high bidder near end so retracted so he didn't buy his own card
