Default 2008 National Treasures Football

I'm looking at buying a box or two of this. Is there expired redemptions in this product? Thanks

For example

Yeah. But if You pull any. Panini still honors them. And if they don't have them. They will give You something in replacement equal to it's value or better. Just the wait time can be very long.

So I shouldn't be apprehensive prior to purchasing? Suggestions/recommendations?

Panini's redemptions usually expire after 18 months after product release.

It's really up to you. It's always taking some sort of a risk purchasing a product that has expired redemptions. Panini would probably still give you something, but who knows what replacement you'd get or how long it would take. Too many variables for me.

As a general rule, I stay away from products with expired redemptions.

2008 NT is a great product, why not just stick to singles?

masterpattie, some people just love the fun of breaking a box. more fun then paying for a single. sure it's not very cost effective 90% of the time but it's fun.

I'd say 2008 NT is still a safe bet. I dont think it had a crazy about of redemptions, nobody big at least, but it's always a risk.

If everyone just bought singles, there would be no singles to buy.

True. However, purchasing or avoiding boxes/cases with expired redemptions is a completely different issue. By then, there are plenty of singles to go around.

Great input guys....the only thing that I can't stand more than busting a weak box is busting a weak box with potential trash in the form of an empty redemption. The 2008 line is a great product to bust but I think I'll take the advice and roll with the singles from this year if need be. I'll go a different direction as far as $1300-1400 on a case. Thanks!
