The Bears need to bring in a backup RB to take 10+ carries a game so Forte doesn't have to shoulder the load so much. That's one of the reasons he got so many yards last year. Lots of yards, but only a 3.9 average like you said because he got the ball so much. If they continue to push Forte like they did in 2008 he will be worn out after three seasons, and they realize that. That's why they're looking for someone. I think it's pretty clear he's gonna be a focus of the offense until we find the next Peyton Manning via trade or the NFL Draft, though...

Thanks for the response guys. I am asking because I have 4 nice autos of Forte and was thinking of moving them. I know the time is bad to sell but figured if he took a dump next season they would drop like a stone. Thanks |

I think the Bears need to focus on the O-line. Garza, Kruetz, Tait are all getting up there in age. I thought Forte's YPC was decent considering who he had blocking for him. A RB is only as good as his OL in most instances. Example, look at Larry Johnson's stats after Roaf and Shields retired = crap.
