I think so. I think buying now thru the start of next season is a good idea.

If not, I sure hope the media rides him as hard as they ride Tebow.

I think his value will go back up. Hopefully he puts up some good numbers next year

his value will definitely go back up, but its a lost cause this year

the guy has alot of talent, was just injury plagued and surrouded by an awful team

hopefully they can make some moves in the off-season and give him some protection and legit WR's next year

luckily I bought into his absolute RPM at $85 and was able to move it for that price...didn't feel like waiting till next year

Nothing is ever a slam dunk. Sure he has potential, but he's also injury prone and his team is absolutely horrific.

Look at 'franchise' players in the NBA like Chris Paul. Had an absolutely monster rookie year, and his numbers have been declining ever since (also suffered injuries).

You're always risking investing in this business, but for me (personally) I'd only spend the big bucks on previous super bowl winners or the current rookies of the season (as they bring in the most money and demand when they're hot).

No they will more than likely not reach their original hype levels, but what the majority of people don't understand is that they don't need to in order to still profit. However, now is not necessarily the time to be buying either. There's still some further downside potential and that's when you pick them up, provided you believe his career will be more like last year than this year.

Stafford got pretty 'cheap' for a while there too... just sayin. Bradford has talent and a skill set that can succeed in the NFL. He just needs some help and another high draft pick after this season will help. The kid did one hell of a job keeping up with the hype his rookie season by taking every notable rookie passing record from Peyton Manning. I'm going to say there's plenty of upside left in this one.

When is the last time a top 2-3 player from their class grew in value or even maintained their value? Investing in the top rookies during their rookie year (peak value) seems to very very rarely ever payoff.

I have a Contenders auto that I didn't sell when I could have gotten $200, so I hope so.

I doubt his prices will hit what they were before. They will get higher if he plays better that's for sure.

In order for his cards to return to their original hype, he would not only have to succeed, but also guide his team to the playoffs. So basically, not anytime soon. There is a relatively good chance, however, that his cards will go up from their current prices.

Lets not forget that Bradford has a new Off. coach and had no off season. The Rams as a whole will be better next year. The lock out really put a halt on their development. Taking a break from the off season will kill a young team. I don't know if his value will every be what it was but I think he will become a good QB. I don't see him being a Ryan Leaf or Tim Couch. Also have to consider that Bradford has no mentor on the team. I think he is going to have a few years of trial and error.

I don't think there is any chance he hits his previous values unless he has a monster year next year including playoffs. His contenders have fallen to around $100 and I think this offseason they will be able to be picked up for $50-70. His last NT RAP sold for $550 when you couldn't touch one for under 1K.

I honestly think his values will fall more, possibly 50% of what they are at the current moment.

No, neither will Cam Newton. Until they take their team to the serious SB contender zone they will drop in value regardless of stats. Whoever is the 2012 first pick will be hyped as well, maybe Andrew Luck, or Barkley and will be overpriced as well.

he may have another new offensive coordinator and head coach next year...that would be 3 offensive coordinators in 3 years

As much as I am not a McDan fan I thing he needs an off season to get his system worked in. It just seems to me that Spags is more of a Def. guy. I wish he would take more chances on Off.

It certainly will take awhile, but it's more dependent on his team than his skills. Hopefully the Rams can get their shiz straight because it would be a shame if they didn't. In a complete waste of draft picks, his top prospect WR's are gone (Gilyard and Avery) so hopefully the organization as a whole can scout better and draft better. Otherwise it's a clear "no".

Getting back to the original hype would be real hard without a SB run in the next 3-4 years, but they should come up quite a bit in the next few seasons. With that said, if I were buying, I'd still wait until the offseason.
