I capitalized rumors intentionally because that just was these are.

There are reports that Vick and Hurd are thought to both be involved in Hurds legal issues....

Who brought Vick's name up? Just incarceratedbob? Who the hell is incarceratedbob? Even his twitter is set to protected. People just hate Vick for what he did, and maybe rightfully so. But let's face it, he's been criticized more than a murderer would be. And some people (or *Breaking sports news reporters*, if that's what you want to call this guy) bring up names just for shock value to get people talking. Like we're doing now.

I would think Vick would still have too many eyes on him after his prior conviction. Why would people involve his name? That doesnt need to be answered.

Never said that, everything about him selling to the NFL is just speculation up to this point. Hurd admitted that he sells in the Chicago area already.

what you need to do is look for personal connections to Hurd...I don't see anything that would link Vick to Hurd prior to this other than being in the NFL. i seriously doubt there is a big NFL drug ring under all of this crap...I think it's most likely that he was pulling a Nate Newton and got busted.

Guys NFL players get tested once a year before training camp. Most NFL players smoke dope. Same with NBA. If the feds have a list of players it only means they have bought pot from him. There is not going to be some kind of Enron scandal here. Hurd was backing a drug business just like Vick did with dog fighting (except his customers wanted his product)and will go down for it. Unless any other NFL players where fronting him money this is no story to anyone else but Sam Hurd. there will be Cowboys named I guarantee it which will be at least 3 days worth on espn. Takes the heat off Romo.
