Curious about something. Why do you have $120 next to these Cam Newton inserts?

CAM NEWTON /50 $120 PRESS PASS LEGENDS AUBURN ROOKIE SILVER RC 2011 PANTHERS | eBay

eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

Out of those 5, 4 have matching serial numbers. Why are you selling the same card over and over?

It's lying and dishonest and tricks many unsuspecting buyers. And the Cam HAS a book value. All these cards your 'pricing' HAVE book values you dolt!

Where does it say 'book value' in the title?

Go to a car lot and look at MSRP and 'sticker price' and then look at how much you pay. They are not one and the same.

So, you're admitting to intentionally deceiving someone that may not understand this problem. Say someones mom, grandparent, etc?

I get sick and tired of all these tired, worn out analogies that try and cover up the actual topic at hand. Look low life, if you want to discuss selling habits of car salesmen, then I'm sure there's a forum for that. We are talking about deceiving people by making up a mythical number to drive bids up. That is deceitful. I really don't need a Boyd jock rider to come in here and give me some played out crap story about something that doesn't apply.

Run along now.

My suspicion is that fullmetal assists Boyd in his shilling practices, hence the missing eBay ID in his avatar...

NO ONE should be protecting this very well known eBay con artist. It's unfortunate that he's protected by eBay solely based on the fees he pays to them. Moral and ethical boundaries have been breached time and time again, yet eBay allows him to run rampant on their Site.

I stated an everyday occurence as an analogy and his response includes a rambling mess of ignorance, name calling and arrogance.

My reputation walks far ahead of me. I don't need your approval.

This site contains numerous threads of childish behavior, which remains perfectly acceptable, but this thread has crossed the line into one the has continually attempted to discredit a businessman without supporting evidence. He offers over a dozen times to provide any information requested or to talk via telephone and not one person cares to do so. Your schoolyard banter may have no significance in grade school, but in the real world libel can be measured in real dollars.

Truthfully, he has accomodated the attacks longer than he should have. I would have approached legal counsel and your parents would have received a summons. You must learn where child's play ends and where real world consequences begin.

Actually, in the pictures there are 3 different cards shown, not 2. It looks like for 2 of the items a stock photo is being used. If you go down to serial number, you will see the card you are bidding on is different. I didn't personally list the item, so I don't know why $120 was used but I can not find this card as priced in beckett. If I am mistaken, I apologize.

I'm coming to the conclusion that responding to all the posts and false accusations really isn't the best way to go. When facts don't change someone's opinion, nothing will. If anyone wants to contact me with questions and/or concerns, please call me 513-833-5158, email TBoyd@bigboydsportscards.com, or PM me here. I will be happy to answer any questions. I'm not planning on posting again in this thread.

Who gives a crap if he says all the cards he sells are $10000000000 in the title. It is your responsibility as a consumer to know what the hell you are bidding on.

its also the sellers responsibility to describe the product accurately. His values are far higher then any book value. This is a well known tactic used by sellers of all products to deceive the buyers.

The guy is just a scumbag. just trying to make a buck, he can come on here and defend himself to no avail. He never has any concrete info to back up his shadiness, just leaves his email and phone number and says that nobody ever contacts him. he will not respond to specific allegations and always has a lame excuse like "I list so many things so it must have been an oversight" blah blah blah, i guess if we keep bashing him enough the word will get out to avoid him.

He will never get legal counsel because this means his sales would be looked into. There has been numerous proof shown and all he says is he will show you the sales slip saying payment was received which means nothing. Who can say a refund wasn't given. I show him a card he has sold to two customers a bunch of times. He then tells me both they have bought 15 each of the card from him and they must be able to sell well on the secondary market. Strange consdidering the same cards he sells for $40 bucks sells with the entire set for $22 bucks, but he always seems to be able to sell for double. Do we forget about the boxes he sold that were resealed and sold on ebay which he admitted to and said he had trouble with a distributer. I am sure a distributer was going though thousands of boxes of cards and taking out hits when they make plenty of money just selling the boxes themselves.

Cash or paypal? I expect $10 by the weekend Mr. Weatherman.

Yes, legal action. When you attack a person's business livelihood you should expect consequences. This isn't 5th grade dodgeball. I shocked myself today, that I wasted time posting on this thread.

Your attack pack mentality is probably beneficial in prison, but not in my life.
