Upper Deck Sp authentic replacement saga continues

Just got off the phone with UD. My "package" was sent out wednesday" maybe by next week this entire issue is resolved !!

Just an update to the whole saga of replacements for the missing hits.

Called each week for the last 5 weeks. Have been told NEXT WEEK 4 times.

Now last friday I called and was told my cards had been sent out tuesday......................................................................................................

Today I called................................And was told NOTHING WENT OUT.

Not until they get moved and set up in the new building......Now you would think it would have been easier to send the cards and not have to move them.

Maybe its just me but That would have been the smart thing to do.

They still say they are sending what ever was missing from each case.
I was missing 4 patches and 12 other autos.

But this is Upperdeck........................DOnt hold your breath..............................

Also this really bothers me. This last three envelopes I got last week on the SAME DAY..each had 1 card in them.......What a waste of postage. Why not combine shipping.

I nominate ME to run Upper Deck and straighten them out !!! Will anyone 2nd my nomination

lol, i am still waiting on an item from them that is instock for 3 or 4 months and get told the same thing.

Here's the scoop from Shane at UD. I spoke with him at length regarding this the other night. There have been more layoffs including the entire department in their office that mails out replacements and redemptions. The cards are all pulled and packaged and were actually sitting in the office right across from him. You are correct that they are now being sent to Carlsbad to have a form letter inserted into each package and then sent out. He apologized that everything was basically put on hold due to the layoffs. He also told me that they inserted whatever each person stated they were missing. If you were missing 2 RPA's and 2 Multi sigs and a regular auto, he said thats what they put in the package. He just asked me to be patient. I did explain that the longer it took the less we would be able to recoup on resale as these are losing value everyday new product comes out, but there was nothing else he could do.

What am I going to do with that form letter...................................waste of money ..waste of time...Valid reason to hold up shipment..............NO !!

Those were in "production" for the last 3 months. We might see those by time he re-retires again in 2 years (or something like that)

so glad I spent like 14.00 dollars to over nite my stuff I was missing,hoping to get a quick response.I sent this the beginning of february,LOL. O well I guess no chance of getting close to what I payed in return with the long arse delay. It stinks alot of us r in the same freaking boat!!!

I normally NEVER Buy Redemptions but had couldn't resist these 2 below and now to hear that they are short staffed, and having a fire sale on most of the UD Store products to raise cash... pretty disappointing to me- I just hope to get the cards within the next year

What is your source on this? They may be short staffed, but a fire sale? They arent closing the doors QUITE yet.

EDIT: They are having a sale, but I dont see it as a bad sign. I mean, I dont know anyone who has bought anything from that store at THAT price. Its all extremely overpriced, and maybe its finally coming down some. Most of the stuff I see from the store on the market is people who bought wholesale from distributors, or from people who racked up discounts.

I doubt its a last ditch effort to raise cash.

There may have been layoffs, but they were already running a fat organization. Now that they have slimmed down and once they get things running again, it should be fine.

Still waiting and getting pissed. I just sent Shane an email to find out what's going on. This is just ignorant. You would think with everything that is going on they would try to enhance their customer service not lose more customers. I have always loved UD products but have not purchased any since this happened. I hate Donruss and Topps isn't any better. Who does that leave? Ahhhh I guess I'll buy another box of Razor Letterman Baseball.

I received mine today and was shorted I think 10 hits. I got 4 rc patch autos and a leatherhead Jordy Nelson. So dont hold your breath on getting all 16
