6 years 51.175 million.
I know he won the Defensive player of the year but thats a lot of money for a player who was cut 3 times by the Steelers and once by Baltimore........

Keep in mind the lifestyle of a undrafted player, unlike a draft pick undrafted players have to fight to stay on roster because money is not guaranteed, in most cases. He also learned under lewis, porter, ferrior, etc. Keep in mind that under 10 mil a year for a def player of the year is a very good value. Trust me his salary is going to be 5 mil less then the first overall pick of this draft and he will have 3x the production (minimal)

IMO he is worth every penny they are giving him. His on field production is just incredible. He was cut a few times by the Steelers and Ravens, but he has definitely figured things out and is flourishing. He has the desire to prove those who doubted him wrong on a weekly basis and I don't see that changing.
