I am pumped.... Won 2 Kaepernicks on eBay last week and both are different. Lol got the SP for $15 and the regular was $19. Guessing the seller didn't know it. I got the regular in the mail today and the other should be here tomorrow.

probably been said in the multitude of posts in this thread, but I am too lazy to read them all.

Panini I do not want to play a game of spot the differences with my football cards. If you want to make variants, make them different poses, not some guy halfway decent at Photoshop monkeying with the photos.

This Highlights book game is really as bad as the giant head cards or the stupid video cards...

That site linked is wrong. The Torrey SMith SP variation has no NFL shields on his gloves. He has them on his gloves in the regular version. Cam Newton is the wristband above his elbow

Pretty cool, but the Cam is missing the arm band as well, not just the riddell on the helmet I think

Anyone know how to spot the locker one if there is one? It is hard on ebay I guess cause of his pose to see the writing on his helmet very well...thanks

Panini needs to get off their ass and quit being lazy. This is really lame, it seems like this is panini's way to make a SP in a short time, since they were late with the product already, their half ass job on making SP. LAME LAME LAME! Thank God for UPPER DECK and TOPPS!

I haven't read all the pages of responses, but I am the only one that thinks this is lame? Clearly I am not as I read a few on the last page. A total turn off in my opinion, I agree with other posts saying make different poses.

Soooooo lame, now my question is:

If they KNOW which versions are the super short prints before anyone else, what's to keep them from snatching up every one they see on Ebay??? Just a question that seems to make sense.....as if they don't already make enough with little effort put into customer service and basic card design. This year's products have been a joke to me. And some of these 'new innovative ideas' are an even bigger joke. Here's an idea, quit spending time worrying about video cards and get you #@#@#@#@ together. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I agree these SPs are lame - had an opportunity to pick up several last night, but I just don't find them appealing. It was more fun for me to find them than to actual buy them.

In one card, he is kicking a puppy, in the other, its a kitten.

I cant believe that people are actually buying into this crap. At least last year they actually put some effort into the variations, rather than just using the eraser tool on photoshop.

I didnt think it could get worse than the helmet stripe variations in Prestige. As usual, Panini finds a way to prove me wrong!
