Default What product would you buy with $500?

Hello everyone!

After some saving up, I have $500 that I am going to spend on nothing but cards. In your honest opinions, what would the best product to buy for football? I know it isn't much money but I would like to have a good shot at pulling something nice.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!

**Before someone points out the obvious, yes this same thread appears in baseball, football, and basketball forums. I want to get opinions across all three sports.

I love Chrome, Topps and Bowman for baseball. And even Topps Chrome for basketball. Low risk high reward. Certified isn't bad for football.

Is Luck in the Contenders as well?

EDIT***This is a dumb question as 2012 will have Luck autos. I'm an idiot.

No Andrew Luck is not in Contenders, but chances are if you buy 4 boxes you have a decent shot of getting a Cam Newton. That being said I know busting boxes is a lot of fun, I bust a few cases a year, but in the long run its smarter to just go out and buy a really nice card that you want for your collection. Just my two cents, but then again I spend 2700 on five star and only made back 700.

-1 on the supreme. Horrible product. Too risky. But NT is good

I would go with Topps Chrome, Certified, Limited and Contenders. Good variety and quality. National Treasures has some sweet cards, but too risky to put all your eggs in one basket.

There's new stuff coming out as well if you're down with pre sell. Playbook might be a cool product. You could do another Conteders and still have around 135 or so for something else.

I would suggest singles as well but if you want to get a box I would go with 2010 Five Star, 2009 Exquisite or 2008 National Treasures

If it was me, I would buy a box of totally certified, playbook, '12 PP and possibly leaf metal draft. Would have around $20 left.
