1988 Donruss Baseball. Didn't care who I got, just wanted to complete the set. Got 2 or 3 sets now.

87 Topps Baseball. Gotta love the woodgrain and bright green packs.

my first box was 1981 topps football. the corner store would order them from the candy man for my dad. i had been watching him open 76 topps and others for years, then one day he got three boxes of 81 topps and one was mine.

Ahhhh. That one stands out to me. Im not exactly sure but I think 87 Topps Baseball was at least one of my firsts. Sad all those cards I busted back then are worth pennys but the memorys are priceless.

88 Score was the first ones I remember. Was about the time I got my paperroute and would finish it just about the time the local market opened. I'd buy the packs and rush home, open them in the basement (so I wouldnt be caught) stashing them with my GI Joes.

First was was 01 Ovations FB and I pulled a Vick Auto'd Rookie (Black and White).
