Those knock off sites seem decent, but why does one site sell Nike jerseys with the shield and the other doesn't have the shield. I was looking at AP jerseys.

Looking at the Minnesota shop they sell game jerseys and elite jerseys. You'd think the game jerseys would be more expensive as it seems that's the same quality that is used for games, but not so. The elite are priced at $350!?

Actually touched one of these today and the stitched ones are way better looking and feeling than Reebok. But they are crazy expensive compared to the screen printed ones. But the new screen prints look way better than anything Reebok EVER put out. But that's just my 2 cents (sense? lol).

This is where I get mine. The price is a little deceiving. If you order 9 or less of them it ends up costing you about $45 each because of shipping. Order 10 or more and they will run you about $25-$30 each. No matter how many you order they make you pay $6.50 each for insurance. If you're only wanting one then my advice is to get a few friends to go in on it with you. Charge them $30 per jersey and you'll pretty much break even.

For those that are debating buying a $30-$40 knock off or the $100 replica jersey I will put it to you like this.

The quality of the material on the knock offs are just as good if not better than the replica. Nike makes all of their products in third world countries just like the bootleggers but unlike the bootleggers they have a high overhead to cover with licensing, advertising, and endorsement deals. Also, while you can tell a knock off from an authentic upon close inspection you can spot the "cheap" replica a mile away.

Absolutely incorrect on so many levels.

Most of the fonts are completely wrong, most of the colors are off, and there are details that the fakes cannot replicate. Have you seen the new RG3 knock offs? LMFAO, they are atrocious. Compare a legit to a knockoff - they are night and day different.

If you know nothing about jerseys, then fakes are fine. But trust me, those of us who have real ones are laughing and pointing behind your backs, and that's no joke.

I don't even need a "close inspection" to spot a knockoff in many cases.

And you must have missed the post where someone said that Nike's screen printed jersey is better than anything Reebok ever put out.

After seeing this thread, I headed over to NFL.com so I could buy an elite jersey. After reading the horrible reviews on the jerseys, I am staying far away.

horrible reviews?

I bought one of the new Cam authentic jerseys and it's amazing, seriously, a beautiful piece of clothing (never thought I'd say that before, haha)

But in all honesty, the materials used, the cut of it, just everything about it is outstanding. I have an old authentic Biakabutuka jersey from when Wilson was still making them, and it's still really nice, but the Nike blows it out of the water.

yeah GB away jerseys have eagle green letters and numbers (thats why they are rare on ebay) and i have seen a package of a dozen jerseys opened and the 5 jerseys that were the same were ok but the NFL patch was crooked on 1 and the other jerseys nameplates were crooked and/or had spots of white in the letters or had wild stitching. it was like 1 or 2 people stitched them and when they had to start on a different jersey they readjusted poorly. crooked and wildly sewn nameplates seem to be the biggest mistake. then color associated with away jerseys. ive seen some gnarly captains patch placement on ebay too.

so basically get 11 people to buy the same/similar jersey and only 1 or 2 should be screwed up and you get free shipping. otherwise its a gamble. shipping costs and added fees appear different depending on the site and final checkout costs.
