Default Upper Deck and BBB

i filed a complaint and went back and forth with upper deck and BBB, UD had requested they close the case, it was for missing SPA hits, i told them not to close it because i still hadn't received replacements. I just received this, it doesn't make any sense to me.

This message is in regard to your complaint submitted on 5/3/2009 8:18:32 AM against The Upper Deck Co. Your complaint was assigned ID 7858856.

The Bureau has decided to close this complaint and consider it unresolved. You have indicated that the company's response to the complaint does not settle the matter, and the BBB has determined that the company's response does not adequately address all the issues or make a good faith effort to resolve the dispute.

the BBB cant really enforce anything, just another way to contact upper deck. IF you look at Upper Decks rating on the BBB website, it is an F so the BBB already shows that upper deck sucks. The only things you can do are to continue talking to upper deck about the issue or legal action.

The BBB is worthless. They have no power to do anything and unless a company cares about upholding its image by having a good rating with them, there is no point in filing a complaint.

The person you need to file a complaint with is the office of the Attorney General of the state of California (or for others reading this, whichever state the business you are filing against is located). The attorney general actually has power to revoke licenses or issue fines, unlike the BBB which can basically only tell other consumers that they have given a company a "bad grade".
