The Low BV Yet Hard to Find Card Thread
 

Everyone is looking for the rare cards, but many among us are also looking for less rare cards, cards that aren't even SP's and have a BV of $10 or less but haven't shown up online for sale in years because sellers assume they aren't valuable based on the player or the book value. So these cards end up "rare" even though they really aren't!

The idea of this thread is to post those kinds of cards in hopes that someone here will have it in a common box to sell or trade you. The only requirement if you post is that you must check back here to see other people's needs too - that way we have more eyes looking for these cards! And if you want to put a finders fee for the card you're looking for, feel free to mention that in your post. It may provide more incentive for people to look for your card. But we have lots of users who will look for cards even without the option of payment too so no worries if you don't!

[B]Post below this post with the card you're looking for (try to list it as specifically as possible including company, year, card #, etc.) and I'll add it to the list!

And please do let us/me know if you find it someday so that I can remove it from the list at that point.[/B]

Thanks as well! And I agree, I find more on COMC these days than Ebay. Ebay is the same stuff week in week out (aside from one seller I know who finds Senecas for me haha). COMC randomly has cards added everyday, and lately I've found 3-4 new Senecas a month just by checking the "recently added" option every couple of days. It's neat.

There have been a total of 2 on Ebay since the product has been released, 1 listed twice by the same buyer and I keep missing out on this stupid card! The last time my internet went out in my neighborhood and it got back online and it ended about 30 seconds before then.

This card has been a really tough find for me.

I love that the autographed version /50 of that card is on COMC, but the base parallel is not. Definitely qualifies for this post - wish I had one!

I have seen a few of them, but none of DeMarco...

this is like a $5 auto and they made 999 of them, and I have around 25, but there just don't seem to be any anywhere....... somewhere $1 auto boxes at local shows are screaming my name

Yeah it's definitely alright. People complain about shipping a lot because the cost seems expensive (was $3 plus .25 each additional card, now I think it's $3.99 for the first 20 cards and then plus more after). But when you figure you're buying all these cards from one place and you can wait to ship until you have a whole bunch of cards...AND you can offer a lower price on every card as long as you account credit...it's really quite a good deal.

It is ridiculous because you have to add for a toploader. I bought like 5 cards, cost $5. It is my only issue with it. I wonder if they still ship it well if I don't add a toploader

I think they ship pretty well without (I always go without). Especially if you get a bunch of cards - then they're a nice little brick and since they ship in padded stuff they don't get dented or anything. I guess they could still get bent but I've never had an issue. All my Seneca cards from there (something like 40 of 216, which is ridiculous haha) have been in great shape and I bought some high BV stuff (for Seneca anyways).

I never buy toploaders from them and the cards always arrive in good condition. They ship them in team bags with toploaders on the outside cards. I've always had good experiences buying off of COMC

I'll add to it

For hockey cards, OPC blank backs. Hockey collectors assume there are 15 of them, but people are lucky to find one. Same with Score French backs and Score black ice. I think they are hard to find because they come from products that aren't broken much.
