Been waiting on this one for a couple of months, I knew it wasn't going anywhere, so I wasn't worried. The Ultimate Matt Ware collector had pulled this one, we finally worked out a trade for some other set needs as well. Thank you, JR! (I believe this to be the second acquisition from JR).

Made a trade today for #282, with maikai24. I don't think Jeremy realized the magnitude of 264/....he contacted me to trade me some 2006 SPxcellence inserts for my set. He then says he has one of those 264 things....I laughed.

I don't think he realizes that was the highlight of our trade. Thanks, Jeremy!

#288 is enlisted into the PC, after a close call. Found it, set standard snipe and won it by less than $1. :huh: 3.264 times BV....a nice 3 color, maybe player chaser, I know a few....anyways a real nice addition....

Also, this is the first multi-year player addition. Goes with his Rookie Auto/Jersey, which was #106 addition to the PC on December 7, 2007.

So recently I had to evaluate whether my efforts to view every ebay listing to view the description or picture, if it didn't have 264 in the title bar, came into question. I spend hundreds of hours previewing SPx auctions over the years, only to find two from viewing the scans (Reggie and Michael Bush).

I have also begun to avoid certain sellers, who have stores, bad scans and no serial numbers listed. Today's addition comes from one such seller, whom I happened to view their auction on a whim. I had to email to verify the serial number, as picture wasn't totally clear.

Hummmphhh....I guess I keep checking them all...

All that said, I present #294.....

#295 has a BV of $10. I found it by reviewing scans of auctions, as the serial number wasn't listed. The seller had is listed with a $44.95 BIN & BO.

I emailed him and queried his pricing. He returned an reduction that equated into a final price of full BV, plus $2.50 for shipping. I am a glutton for punishment...LOL
