Default I know you hate this but I got to ask...

Is this fake?

I PC Greg Little and I don't think they would put that put that as a patch on the /399 version. Maybe it is real, but I would like to get some opinions before I put a high bid on it.

I highly doubt it since I would think that Panini would use that Patch for a much higher-end, lower-numbered card. Stranger things have happened.

I saw a legit Torrey Smith "Ravens" patch on a silver /399. This one could be legit as well.

LBSB333 is the collector for this set. If you take a look at http://bit.ly/LJlyb5 you can view the Torrey Smith. You would be surprised at the patches on those /399's. Good luck! Hope it helps!

My opinion...fake. A little too centered and perfect for my taste.

I agree with you, but i just don't see why anyone would go through the hassle of faking a Greg Little card?? Just doesn't seem like he goes that well regardless of the patch..But like you said "Stranger things have happened"

Call me crazy, but I think it's real. Panini has put logo shields in patch variations out of /50 in the past. You just never know what they will use as "prime" piece.

I'd guess it's legit. Seller has significant positive feedback plus 90% of his cards have single-color jerseys. If he was decided to do a fake he'd probably do it on a player with higher caliber than a Greg Little.

I looked at that too. I was just confused about the fact that they would put a patch like that which should be a 1/1 into something /399. I put a high bid on it and I hope I can add that to my Greg Little PC.

Definitely a valid concern, but at one time SP Authentic RPA cards (NFL licensed) were also known for incredible patches/logos and many were numbered out of /999. On top of that, many of these logos were cut up and crammed into tiny windows.

Though these Playbooks with logos aren't common, I've seen enough to feel you're good with this one.

There were some pretty sweet patches in those booklets, and I see no reason or evidence that it's fake. If I had to say, I'd say it's real.

Is it UD or Panini that uses some kind of invisible ink verfication on patches?

I am bidding on it. If I were to win I might have to look into sending to Panini and finding out for sure. I have looked on ebay and like the link someone posted on this thread they have put some nice patches in the booklets. I got mine in and it was all brown with stitching. Since then I have gotten 2 more that seem like part of a letter or number, but no doubt this is the one I got to have. Might have to charge this one to the ol credit card lol

I think it's real. I was going to bring up the Torrey Smith patch and the Von Miller patches but it looks like people already did! Even though the cards have high serial numbers, they have some amazing patches. There's a good mix of name plates and jersey numbers with multi color patches.

Good luck with the bidding!!! I'll be watching it to see how it goes!

Hopefully its legit, but a lot of people fake redemptions since they know noone else could have seen it. But this one may be real. but if you decide to sell it you may have to convince the next buyer its real. May be hard since there are so many fake patch cards out there.

I will send it in to Panini and let them authenticate it. If I win it.

That will be the best thing especially if you plan on moving it. Great idea.

Put it under a blacklight. That's prolly all they do. Unless there is some secret ink out there no one knows of.

Default Greg Little 1/1 story..

So last year I was opening some 2011 Topps Prime football and pulled a damaged 1/1 Rob Housler auto. I returned the card to Topps hoping for a decent replacement and was surprised to get a Greg Little 1/1 Topps Prime auto in return. Surprised because a definite upgrade and also the product was sold out from the factory so why would they have 1/1 autos unpacked and laying around? I know there are those who believe Topps packs out all their large hits and others who say they have some creep out the back or intentionally left out for replacement purposes. Anyways, if I super collected a player and was hoping to hit Greg Little cards I may be a little frustrated that this gem was not sent with product...

I am holding card and getting graded in hopes he has a good year. After getting side tracked with baseball it is fun to go back and see how much and how many of cards I have to PC, slab, sell, etc. I am pretty surprised how much some Chrome cards are getting at this point...happy, but surprised. Nothing better then going back through cards and being pleasantly surprised at how some cards are warming up collection/price wise...

I can't remember which product it was but I remember something about someone getting a sam bradford 1/1 rc auto as a replacement.

Anyway, just like everything else, if someone needs a replacement, and they had a 1/1 you need to hold something back to send them, and I doubt you would have been happy with a scrub 1/1, so I think they generally keep 1 top tier player out of circulation!!
