Default Using the 2011 Rookie Premiere Class to Judge 2012

Obviously it's the offseason and anything can happen, but I'm sure many are more familiar with last year's class than this year's in terms of value as it's still early in this football (collecting) year.

Here's a possibly awful attempt to compare the values of last year's Rookie Premiere attendees to this years to give you an idea of what you just pulled in your 2012 packs (Info is as far from scientific as can be...that's what happens when you get bored):

There's a ton of inconsistancy on this chart

Well if anyone with that eBay tracking info would be interested in editing the list feel free just thought it would help. (And yes, more accuracy WOULD help).

Also each player can't have a PERFECT comparison either.

Personally I think ranking the 2011 class then the 2012 class and putting them side by side would give people a better idea of where the value lies in each respective draft. It wouldn't be good as a ebay price point comparison, but a lot less work. Value wise, and excluding external variables, I'd imagine the 2 draft classes as a whole would produce near the same dollar amount at this point..

It usually would help OP if you would, you know, point out the inconsistencies in the chart. Just saying it doesn't really help...

Like I referenced in the OP perhaps this is an illogical idea I was just thinking more along the line of an immediate reference to give an idea of value for those who can't flock to eBay or something. It's far fom perfect.

And yes, appears a few names are missing. Not sure how that happened.

i just don't see alshon being comparable to julio. i think you need to wait for another release or at least until the preseason starts before doing comparisons based off of ebay sales so far. good idea though.
