Default Does Megatron's 2007 SP Authentic have any more potential to go higher?

I'm guessing this is it's max value. It seems to me his popularity can't get any higher than it is now.

The only way I see it going up any higher is if he is MVP or Super Bowl MVP.

It's not out of the realm of possibility that he challenges the single season TD receiving record held by Moss. If that happens there is still room for growth.

I don’t see how there isn’t still room for growth…

What did Adrian Peterson top out at for nice 3 colors? Twice what Calvin goes for right now?

I’m certainly not saying Calvin doubles in value – but he has a chance to dominate even more as the best WR in the game.

You all are making valid points. I didn't realize that AP's card was selling for that much more than Megatrons.

Historically, runningbacks skyrocket much faster and higher than wide receivers. I don't ever see Johnson's SPA reaching AP highest level unless he breaks records by week 14.

Historically though it was a RB driven league (along with QB's)

It's now a QB/WR driven league.

He could very well break records by Week 14 in the current NFL.

Even this past season, running backs skyrocketed faster. It took Demarco Murray one big game to insanely raise his prices. It took Laurent Robinson a streak of games with a TD to raise his prices, and even then it do much. I still don't see Johnson matching Peterson's peak price. In terms of collectibility, it usually goes QB, RB, then WR. With TE breaking out recently, they are also watering down the receiver corp.
