wow, so $184 per card is a good price? Buyer is an idiot. Even 5 grand would be too much to pay for this

Probably lol, my LCS owner went to a card show many years ago and sold cards of Joe Montana to Joe Montana's Mom. She was trying to haggle prices down just because she was his Mom. My LCS owner was having none of it.

Matt Walsh's mother bought several cards of him in an eBay auction I ran. I'm on her real estate mailing list now.

Don't ask me how much I want to offer. Come with a price in mind. If I don't want it or think it's worth that, I will let you know.

I thought there was a cap as well, but the eBay fee calculator is telling me it would be $323.00.
Who knows.

It blows my mind people would even think for a second this sale was legit. Come on...they sell individually for $60-65 dollars, max.

That's the problem with ebay nowadays, people are such 'suckers' and believe just about every completed auction they see, so they take it as the new 'going rate.' So easy to manipulate the market with a few shill accounts.

To OP: sucks you got taken. I know you'd like to maximize your profits by putting an outrageous BIN, but honestly I'd put it at $9,999 OBO with 'immediate payment required' so none of these clowns can pull the same thing again in the future, since it does cost you time and money.

Can not do OBO with immediate payment required, just BIN

You need to check again my friend. I've been doing ebay high end sales for 3 years now.

You can specify 'immediate payment required with buy it now' on any OBO auction that does not exceed 9999.99. That eliminates clowns like this that just go around pressing bin's on high priced items for kicks. And also allows you to screen feedback of regular 'best offers' before accepting them, as usual.

Fairly certain what he meant is that you can not force an immediate payment when accepting an offer
