That's what I saw on the madden careers website which is where I advanced from on my phone.

I guess it seems like players retire during all the offseason weeks... I guess I wasn't aware of this.

I liked in previous years where you could try to convince them to come back. It would be nice if they still had that option if the player was still relatively young and still had good ratings.

i'm just bummed because I specifically picked up the "MLB Retirement Age" perk for my coach to keep Ray around for another season or two. Kinda wish I hadn't blown my accrued scouting points last night since it looks like I'll need a new MLB.

Sad to announce that I am dropping the league due to my new work schedule. I'm working the worst shift ever (3pm-1:30am M-Sat) and no clue when if ever while I'm still with this company I'll be changing shifts again. This leaves me zero time to play evening games which is the time everyone is usually on.

freethrowtommy will be taking on the role of commish of the league and I am confident he will do a very good job

I'll still be around on BO but not much on XBL during the week. You can start a new league thread if you'd like or keep this one going and just PM with anything you would like me to update in the OP. Good luck to everyone in the following seasons and hopefully sooner than later I can rejoin the league if it's still going strong!

But seriously, thanks to Freddy for running this league so well for the year. It went really smooth and I hope I can keep it going.

As of now, there are no changes to the format and the next advance will still be tonight.

Also, if you know anyone who would like to join up, PM me. There are quite a few teams open. I will probably make a new thread tonight for Season 2 as this one has gotten quite long and I don't have to annoy Freddy with posting updates if needed.
