Default Worst trade ever?

Ok, this one has haunted me for 30 plus years and I am 43. When I was about 8-10 years old my friend and I collected football cards. Way before autos and when you sorted by teams and then placed rubber bands around your cards. Ruined them straight out the pack. Anyways, my friends aunt found tons of 1958 to 1968 cards in her attic. Amongst these cards were the 1965 Topps long cards, basically much taller than regular cards. Of course he received 2 Joe Namath tall cards, his rookie season, and he gave me one and shared many others. Well our thinking, mostly mine, was that these odd shaped cards much be worth far less than the standard size cards. You see where this is going? My dumbass traded a better than average conditioned 1965 Joe Namath rookie card for a bunch of random 1976-1979 Cowboy cards with a combined worth of probably $5 at the time. Too this day my friend wants to kick me in nuts cause I not only pulled worst trade ever but traded a card he gave me. We both had no clue at the time that these were rookie cards and worth even more since they were odd shaped. I still have the other 1965s he gave me including a Lance Alworth but till I die this is the worst ever. I am cleansing my soul by letting this out and opening myself up to super ridicule but trust me, as tough as its been I have come to grips with my ignorance. Be kind...

I probably used those same Namath's on my bike. I had an extreme dislike for him back then. Now he's kind of funny when he's lit up.

I remember seeing people in 98 trade Manning for Leaf. Looking back I can't help but laugh. Good thing I was a Moss fan.

I actually picked up a decent one for less than $500 raw years ago to make amends. I always thought the $2000 value Beckett had back then was what it was worth per card and not that condition mattered. It was probably a PSA 4 or 5 but still a horrible trade.

i pulled a Shaq rookie insert out of... NBA Hoops maybe? It was one of the rarer cards in the set. The Beckett at the time had it at 60 bucks, which was a lot of money to me. Well, some kid that was older than me (i was in 2nd or 3rd grade, he was in 5th) said he'd trade me a whole box of cards for that card. I agreed, and then he showed up and said "My Mom wouldn't let me trade a whole box of cards for it", so i got a half box and got garbage out of it.

I don't even want to think the cards that passed through my hands when I had no idea really what was what.

Once, I traded my soul for a Mt. Dew. I wouldn't be too hard on yourself.
