in terms of performance, you just admitted it's Maclin. We're not saying who's more talented...it's who's better...meaning performance.

As for who is better in 2012, If we based the decision of this factual data it would be Desean +10 & Jeremy Maclin +1

Desean Jackson wins in the following categories, Carries, Rushing Yards, Rushing Average, Longest Run, Receptions, Receiving Yards, Receiving Average, Longest Reception, Receiving 1st Downs, %Rec for 1st Down.

Jeremy Maclin wins in the following categories, total TD's.

Last time I checked 10 > 1

(with 5 people guarding Desean in the end zone of course Maclin is going to get the ball)

I can't seem to decide who is better...

PSSSSSSH as if everyone doesn't know! Who me? Biased? Noooo, you got the wrong guy

Desean has proven this year that he is a top 10 receiver and arguably top 5 based off stats. Maclin himself is a great talent but i just think desean is a better overall talent. He's still got some issues to work over like not being a diva, but when he's focused and his head is on straight, dude can ball.

WR's like Maclin are a dime a dozen. Desean is a PLAYMAKER. Very rare someone with his talent level at the big play at WR.

DeSean is a beast don't get me wrong, but I love how people seem to forget other players when they get injured and use that against them. For example, only a few weeks after Julio Jones was out for the season you started to see people completely leave him out of Top 10 WR lists and all, even though he deserves to be in there.

DeSean is an incredible deep threat and probably the best in the business when he catches it with open space. But he never makes any contested catches. If he's not wide open, he's not going to fight a DB to get that ball. DeSean is a poor blocker as well. In terms of catching, Maclin gets the edge. Route-running, speed, YAC DeSean gets the edge. Both are very talented, and DeSean has benefited greatly from Chip's system this year, which makes up for a lot of his numbers.

This isn't accurate. If it were, he wouldn't have been a 1st Round Pick.

He's got elite level speed and elusiveness, but beyond that he is fairly average.

Benny is right about Desean not fighting for balls, he simply cannot becuase he is so small.

Before you reply back to me, please take a moment and realize who we are talking about. JEREMY MACLIN. A DIME A DOZEN WR. Who cares where or who drafted him? For a number one WR, and the way people are talking about him in this thread, you'd think he was Dwayne Bowe.

You comments are ignorant, the void left by Jeremy Maclin was filled by Riley Cooper. You know what a pissed off, half hearted Desean Jackson does to that offense? 4-12.

Its sad that the Eagles are your team and you cannot recognize that. What do you do for a living? Front Office Management for the Eagles?

No need to come in here bashing people.. Threads like this are based off of a matter of opinion. Yeah Desean is a diva at times, lots of WRs are. The question is who is the better WR, not which one acts out when he's mad. Desean is the overall better talent.
