You can not be serious. PSA and BGS should not be used as an out to sell fake or tampered cards. They do not authenticate the autographs. PSA was caught slabbing lots of fakes. Actually slabbing laser signatures. They also knowing graded lots of trimmed cards. Most notable is the Wagner that sold for 2.8 million.

The card looks very horrible. You can not honestly say it looks fine.

If you search "Topps Desean Jackson auto" or "Bowman Desean JAckson auto" on ebay, there are over 200 live and completed items. NONE of them was signed in black ink. It can't be real unless it's an 1/1 black ink sticker.

Actually PSA and BGS DO in fact look at the autograph before they grade the card. I saw BGS reject cards at the National this past year due to questionable autographs or patch. PSA is the same way once it goes into their 4 or 5 step grading/verifying process.

Look bottom line is the card is what it is. It is authenticated PSA 10 Gem Mint. If you or anybody else does not feel comfortable with the autograph then just simply don't bid. I don't know what else to tell you.

They look at it but they are not authenticate the autograph. I seen BGS and PSA grade many fake autograph and jersey cards, they are not all rejected.

You can tell me you are not going to sell this very suspicious card until you can verify it is real. That is the right thing to do.

Maybe you just got the same grader that gave your Rodgers SPA a 9.5.

Was that the Rodgers with a bent corner that got a 9.5?

As someone who has seen a ton of D-Jack autos, that one (not only being the wrong color) looks like it was traced/copied by a 5th grader. That auto is faker than BostonNut's penile implant.

Don't be stupid (like PSA was) Idol....

looks as if the original blue faded to a faint black (very common when the auto's fade) then someone being foolish traced over it with a black sharpie and did a terrible job! If you look closely you can actually see the blue marker under the black scribble. This is obviously a card that was authentic but no longer is due to tampering.Seller should remove the item ASAP.

Yes he should, but he probably does not care.

Wow, you are completely right. Good spot...you can clearly see a thinner/darker line in the blown up pic (especially more if you look at it at 150% like I am).

Congrats on your greatest post in history!

It looks to me like it's been badly traced not only once but twice over the original blue ink autograph.

the first one was not dark enough so they did it again! Looks like everyone can see this expect for the seller. Pretty shady if you ask me.

I have a Gridiron gear auto that was signed by desean jackson in black ink. Granted that isn't topps, but there are some 08 Black ink autos out there.

Other than that, this is the fakest looking thing I've seen in a very long time...

Maybe desean's pen ran out of ink and he picked up a black crayon.

to you man. That is the correct thing to do. Glad you took the classy way out. You should talk to whoever you bought it from. They stuck you with sh*t.

I'm just curious how that card came about tho. It's whited out behind the sticker, so it's not like somebody slapped a sticker on a base topps chrome rookie.

I am sure the auto was very light or got smudged so they tried to "fix" it. Would you pay top dollar for a light or smudged auto? I know I wouldnt. This happens all the time.
