Who needs money when you're a Texas FB legend? He can go anywhere in Austin and get free stuff. In all seriousness, how is he not on a team? He has, I think, a 65-70% winning record as a starter. I agree that he is an idiot to be broke at this point. He had the masive rookie contract and didn't he get more money from Philly? These guys must not pay any attention at the rookie symposium. They spend a lot of time talking about finances and how to manage money. Come on man, you can't even put 1mil. in the bank and let it accrue interest? That would still leave over 20mil. to blow as you see fit.

Yeah, I was half serious there. But, he could probably live almost entirely free in Austin. Besides that, I'm sure any company in the Austin area would hire him as a spokesman. I just don't understand how these athletes spend so much money in such a short amount of time. My wife and I sat down one night and made a list of things we would get if we had 30mil. It was ridiculous how much stuff we had listed and still didn't spend it all. And the list included a house for my Mom, our house paid off, a house in Spain and $50,000 to all of our close family and friends. Not to mention all of the other items on our list.
