Default Sanchez is awful; Tebow time?

Watching the Jets/Miami game and Sanchez has thrown 2 picks already. On the last interception by Sanchez, the tv announcer goes " I have no idea who he is throwing to".

Tebow time? My bet is by week 5.

Tebow wouldn't do any better than Sanchez; probably worse.

They should have left Tebow alone and went after a solid back-up in the off season - or found a new starter.

That interception in the end zone was just atrocious. One of the worst floaters I have ever seen.

Only today? I thought that's how the Jets looked EVERY day.

Let's see. The Broncos were losing with Kyle Orton, so they put in Tebow and won enough games to make the playoffs and WIN their first playoff game against the Steelers. Everyone said "It's not Tebow winning the games for them, it's the rest of the team carrying him." Ok, now they have Peyton Manning in. How are they doing with this mega-superstar QB who everyone calls the greatest quarterback ever (even though he only won 1 Superbowl in 13 years)? Same as they were with Orton? Yeah, Tebow didn't help them in any way and he's a terrible QB, right? He helped a shitty team win games they shouldn't have. Why did he run the ball most of the time? Because his receivers couldn't catch and his blockers couldn't block. Peyton's learning this the hard way. Tebow was ALL that team had besides Decker, McGahee, and Von Miller.

Sorry Jets fans, your team stinks, starting with your QB. Sanchez will NEVER get you a Super Bowl, let alone get TO the Super Bowl. He's just not that good. Neither are his supporting crew. You pulled one out today against the Dolhpins, but they have a rookie crew. Plus, you had to do it in Overtime with a field goal kick, not Sanchez winning the game. He needs to go. Only thing going for him is he can at least say he's not Matt Cassell.

I think I've acknowledged that the Jets suck plenty of times on here... Just check out my posts...
Nice paragraph though

He DID take a crappy Broncos team to the playoffs and even won their first playoff game in what, 6 years? Sorry, but where were they going BEFORE putting in Tebow? Same place they're going with Peyton. Nowhere. The Falcons destroyed them and expect the Texans to do the same today. How can you expect to win when you have a statue for a QB?

With the Jets, why is it that Sanchez has had 2 chances to make the Super Bowl, but came up short both times? He chokes in the big games. Maybe what they should try is a two quarterback system and see how it works for them. Some college teams do well with it, maybe the Jets can adapt that system. What do they have to lose?

Dignity. Lots of dignity.

It seems most actual Jets fans hate Tebow, and that's saying something when they're starting Sanchez.

Hopefully soon. Maybe once he learns how his position is played.

I'd love to see another game like Tebow's last career start against the Patriots. 3 completitions in the entire first half. Scrambling to avoid the pass rush only to screw up 8 yard passes when he was free. He went Ryan Leaf in that one. It was beautiful.

Heads are going to roll after todays embarrassment, especially after a buy week. Jets are lucky they weren't at home, as they would have been booed off the field. Tebow Time next Sunday?

I'm pretty sure Tebow couldn't do much worse than Sanchez. Tebow time is about 3 weeks overdue. They'd probably still be losing, but at least it would be entertaining.

The icing on the cake is when the Jets reach 3rd down, send in Tebow and he gets the first. Then send back out Sanchez to start with the new set of downs. That is pathetic and Sanchez should be on the bench or even out of the league.

What's bad is Sanchez went 9 for 22 and they only scored 7 points and lost. Jake Locker went 9 for 21 and the scored 37 and won. Same number of completions with just about the same number of attempts and even the yardage was about the same, but Locker's able to throw touchdowns. Sanchez CANNOT play the red zone. Period. It's not the red zone for Sanchez, it's the choke zone. As you can see above, I've been calling for Sanchez to be benched or let go for quite some time now. Tebow COULD help save this team from the downward spiral they're caught in. He did it with the Broncos and the Jets are in the same place they were before Tebow stepped in. This off season, expect Rex Ryan to be gone as well as Sanchez being placed on the trade block. Hell, if you want a bad Quarterback, go find Jamarcus Russell. I hear he's cheap these days. At least he might be able to run a better than Sanchez.
