Default Looks like it's time to sell the Raymond Berry collection

Possibility of a baby on the way, time for the collection to go to add to the safety net. I probably won't get what I have into it but it sure was fun tracking all those cards down.

Can't you convince the baby mama to keep them for your future child?

Children are not conducive to collecting cards - sorry for your loss

No, she says keep them but I know better.

For me, it's all about the pursuit. Once you acquire it, the luster gets a little dull. Time to move on.

Congrats man! Sad to see the collection go, I am sure.

Would you look to sell it whole or piece it out?

Actually, my wife is super cool. When I said "I know better", I mean that I know the safety net is more important than the collection.

Going to piece it out, too specialized to try and sell as a lot.

Thanks, nothing confirmed but speculation abounds.

Wait till they get to pack busting ages, then you'll have an even better time in the hobby. I don't have kids but I have grade school aged siblings. I always buy low end boxes with like 24-36 packs like prestige or hoops to bust with them. I swear its just as fun as the high end stuff.

I've gotten a ton of PMs, everything's fine. Just taking care of some stuff.

Current sale total is around $3300 and I still have 60 cards left. Goal is $4500, we shall see. Taking a little beat of a beating since I paid "collector" prices but it is what it is.

I saw some listed on the bay and was wondering why you were selling. At least you have your priorites straight. That is a great characteristic to have if you plan on starting a family. Good luck with your sales and situation.
