Pretty sure Harbaugh knows what hes doing with QBs. I doubt they would have traded up if they didnt think good things. Hes made the most of the little time hes got

Alex Smith could not pass contact portion of conditioning test. Kaepernick will start tonight.

Nice to see Kaep get the start. I think he has a very bright future ahead of him.

Is the NFL moving into a stage where there will be 2 qbs, 1 slow and one fast. Ex. Tebow and Sanchez?

It also seems like the only feature backs are fast AND strong Ex. Gore and TRICH (with Ray Rice and reggie bush being an exception)
bump for some memories and some "i told you so's"

Seriously, when did all the playoff teams move to a 2 QB system???

Also I think the OP completely missed on AP being a feature back.

Are mobile QBs gonna be more popular in the nfl, probably not. They work in college because they only have to do it for 4 years playing teams where there are only a few great players at best. In the nfl they would have to do it for over 10 years consistently while playing teams loaded with great players. Sure QBs like Luck RG3 and Wilson are mobile and doing good, but its only been 1 year and they are also able to throw it as accurately as ur more traditional QBs. This draft class will be more the exception than the rule with successful QBs.
