Current: MJD

Waiting to see him: Jeff Demps. All the talk of how great CJ was a few years ago will be nothing compared to him. The Pats got a steal.

Tom Brady.

He is the ultimate underdog. Nothing was ever handed to the guy. He was second string QB on his 0-8 HS team his freshman year, barely recruited. Went to Michigan was 5th string QB his freshman year and had to earn every snap he took then his senior season he had to split time with Drew Henson when Brady was clearly the better QB. Got drafted in the 6th round by New England, Bledsoe went down injured and rest is history.

Wes Welker. He's "The Natural". He's a tireless worker. He plays 100% at all times and is one of the best at his position.
Gronk is a close second. Hes the best at his position. He's a character and clearly loves the game. It's simply fun to watch him play.
Retired: Bledsoe and its a long story...

Bruce Carter. Followed him since he came to UNC as a skinny HS qb and watched him bulk up and become one of the best linebackers to play at UNC. He will put a hit on you and is just an absolute athletic freak.

Charles Woodson, I've been a Michigan fan since I was about 10, the same year Michigan won the National Championship and he won the Heisman. I've followed him every step of the way, I have his college Rose Bowl jersey, his Raiders jersey, and his Packers jersey. I think he's won of the best defensive backs of all time and plan on going to Canton when he gets elected into the Hall of Fame which will probably be four years after he retires.

Hurts me to say this, but Eric Berry. Kid can cover like a corner and hit you like a linebacker. He is a phenomenal young talent at the safety position and will be for years to come.

Calvin Johnson- Best WR in football. Humble guy, and actually signed long term with a team that has not been good since they drafted him

Jason Hanson- Should be on everyone's list. Has endured a lot of shitty years

Although I PC McFadden, I have to say that I love watching Percy Harvin. He can do anything. Run it, catch it, return it. Hell , wouldn't surprise me if he could throw it too. He's freaking electric!

Maurice Jones-Drew

Had him in a fantasy league his rookie year, and he was great for me late in the season. Loved the way he played, his story through college and the draft, and he's a great character guy, aside from his contract issue this last offseason.

Second would be Aaron Rodgers, but I do not collect him. I'm a huge Packer fan in general being from Wisconsin. However, I'm too attached to the team to collect any big name players on the team.

Hanson should be given some sort of prestigious medal for putting up with that inferior team for so many years. Great career.

Ben Tate

I like rooting for underdogs and after his rookie year he's taken a back seat to foster. One year left on the contract after 2012 and he can hopefully go somewhere else as a starter unless he pulls a jstew. He's cocky but I consider it confidence, which I like.

I don't really have a current favorite player, but my all time favorite player is Jerry Rice. I collected Rice in the mid 90's, and at one point I had the second best collection of Rice cards in the world. I had well over 1000 different cards, but I sold them because I couldn't afford to collect him anymore. Of course a couple of weeks after I sold them all, I got a job and could have continued it. I was so upset. I tried starting it over again a few years later, but I didn't have the passion anymore.

Calvin Johnson.

I got to watch him in high school and then had the great pleasure of watching him play at Georgia Tech for 3 years. He is so very humble and such a great kid. I have met him on several occations and he is always a gentleman! Not to mention a hellava ballplayer!!!
