Shilling can equal like 10+years in jail, for it is some kind of interstate commerce fraud eBay may not frown upon it but the FBI Internet Division will.

Depends on the jurisdiction that prosecutes. Shill bidding is a criminal offense in Florida.

10+ years is a strech but someone can get in trouble for it. The FBI prob. wouldn't have a problem throwing a rookie or newbee on a shill bidding case just to get his feet wet

I am just more of an old fashion guy when people are going to debate I like to see where they got their data from, I also hate getting information off the internet. Good ole books for me. I have had numerous people get into debates with me over legal stuff (I am a criminal justice student) and then when I asked them where they got their info they just said that "they think that way" so it is just a pet peeve of mine arguing without having some sort of data to look at.

All of them were sentenced to over ten years.

Been trying to find article thought it was in SCD but may have been something like the USA today or local Star Tribune.
