The article even mentions since he's 18 they're now "free" to re-kindle their relationship and that them leaving the courtroom together suggests that might be the case.

If you don't think a 17 year old can be a victim, I would encourage you to actually do some studying on the subject.

Being a Social Work major, and being immersed in all facets of the field, it's a gross undersight for you to say that.
