I think Weeden is underappreciated. He is playing really well considering TRich has sucked so far (if you’ve watched the games you’ll realize he has) and that Greg Little has been Greg Little and Josh Gordon is just figuring it out.
The problem is you’ll never be able to compare the two as Weeden will retire as Luck is probably hitting his prime in 6 years.

And yes I agree it is hard to compare the 2 QB's but what I can say is that Cleveland did well in drafting Weeden. |

What a great way to spark conversation...
I agree it will end up being "wrong" but it's certainly worth a debate.

Brandon Weeden coming out party!
But seriously, I think Weeden is a stop gap for the Browns and they will be grabbing another QB soon. I definitely don't think that is Weeden's fault because he has played well considering the garbage he has to work with... but with a regime change that will be coming soon (I am guessing), the QB will go with the rest of them.

My predictions... Weeden and RG3 are 5 year or less NFL players
Russell Wilson will be above average but never great... Andrew Luck will only get better with age... Ryan Tannehill might be the sleeper best QB of this draft though. If you watched him in week 1 vs. week 6.. you would think you were watching 2 different players. The guy has "it"... and has played less than 30 games at QB in his life. A lot like Dan Marino was the forgotten QB in 1983... Roethlisberger in 2004...Aaron Rodgers in 2005...Flacco in 2008... I think Tannehill will be that guy in this draft.

i think its a bit unfair to say Trent Richardson sucks
his rib injury is pretty bad, and its had quite an impact on him the last 2 games look at his first 5 games, before his injury, pretty damn respectable for a rookie RB on a bad team. 4 TD's (5 total), with about 300 yards rushing He was on pace for about 800-850 yards, which i think is where everyone had him projected to be |

Luck is Peyton Manning Part Deux in Indy....he will have a very good if not great career if they commit to building around him like they did Peyton. I mean Reggie Wayne can attest to the kids ability he has had a great rebound.
Weeden I liked the Weinke comparison made earlier. He has a pretty good arm but his age is a negative. No he's not a 30 year old rookie like Weinke but he's not getting any younger. And the browns always seem to screw it up. His WR core is horrible and he is still doing well for that he's playing respectable but by no means is he better than Luck in the long run. Tannehill though is the one to watch. From day one (if you watched hard knocks) he has always looked confident and composed. Runs a smart game and if they commit to getting good players (like they apparently plan on doing by booting Ocho and not signing Braylon Edwards) around him he might go far. That team is a few players away from being a lot better. WR or two and some defensive help and see what he can do. Russell wilson come on man. Give Flynn the reigns and end this craziness. Midget can't even see over the offensive line. RGIII well I am biased on this one but I might agree his career length is in question. He plays hard but not very smart sometimes. Take too many hits and it will end sooner rather than later. However if they can keep him upright and playing smarter he will last a while. No Canton career but still a decent career if he can avoid hits.

10/28 - vs Titans - Loss 11/04 - vs Dolphins - Loss 11/08 - vs Jaguars - Win 11/18 - vs Patriots - Loss 11/25 - vs Bills - Loss 12/02 - vs Lions - Loss 12/09 - vs Titans - Win 12/16 - vs Texans - Loss 12/23 - vs Chiefs - Win 12/30 - vs Texans - Loss 6-10 is where they are at and could be worse. 8-8 won't win that division so the only way they are getting in the playoffs is with the WildCard and that's not happening either. As for Weeden vs Luck, I think Weeden is doing much more with less then Luck but Luck is the better QB between the two Not sure about Canton just yet, but RG3 is better then both for sure |

Roethlisberger was the 11th picked player in the 2004 draft with only Eli Manning and Phillip Rivers going before him. Forgotten? Hardly
