So I can't tell if this card is faked or not

I can't see why they'd make that card and put the new shield in it, especially since I've seen inception shields with the old logo in there from 2012 I think.

But why would you fake a shield card just to put in the new shield?

I'm so confused

Wouldn't it make sense for a scammer to take the real shield out of a lower value card and replace it with the newer less appealing shield? Then they would take the original shield and put that in a higher valued card that would have a broader appeal?

It's real. The card was produced before Topps knew about the logo design change. It was designed for the old Reebok shields. Topps didn't have the time to redesign/print new cards before release

...I'm sure Topps exhausted their stock of old Reebok jerseys and used new ones as well.

I think he was a redemption so it would stand to reason they may have had him wear different newer jerseys than the other guys that were live. I think it is real.

If I was someone in charge at Topps I would have made an announcement explaining this card- but no they would prefer half of us to think it's fake.

This. I'm waiting on 3 redemptions of him...if the Reebok license expired before he wore/signed, they probably had to have him throw on the new Nike jerseys, hence that shield...

I think its real also. It just doesn't make sense to take the time and effort to make the card worse...Especially since he is a redemption he probably doesn't have many if any Reebok jerseys he "wore"
