Get there EARLY! I mean really early! If you aren't driving to a parking lot where you can tailgate (which is one of the best parts of the experince and everyone should do it at least once), then you will still need to plan ahead because traffic will be a nightmare off Lake Shore, and the train will be PACKED with other Bears fans doing just what you are doing. The stadium opens early (1 1/2 or 2 hours before kickoff?), so you can walk around, find your seats, get some food and drink before the lines get ridiculous. Don't drink too much, you'll end up spending half of the 3rd quarter in the bathroom. I might get a beer or two, then I get a large soda and nurse it the rest of the day. Eat before you go if you can, the food inside is massively expensive. Also, wear multiple layers. Sometimes it can get cold and ugly if the wind comes off the lake, but if the sun is out it can be warm, so you'll want to have stuff you can take on and off as the weather changes.

Lastly, have fun! Enjoy your first game!

Hello, its a joke upon a joke my friend.. its all in good fun . your negative attitude is not needed.

But on the other hand , i see lots of ppl getting mixed up with what someone rights and not being able to read it in the same manner as the writer intended it to be.

And if it was not made clear , i am not a virgin in the birds and bees dept. only a virgen to an in person football game. None the less , continue with the jokes...

Advice that can go either way, much like me:

1. Pre-game
2. Wear the appropriate attire to stay protected
3. It will go quickly so savor every moment
4. Enjoy the afterglow if it goes well or the depressed feeling if it doesn't
5. Take the next day off, you will be exhausted

In all seriousness, have a great time!

like others said.. go early, personally i like to get to seat , watch warms ups, etc...bring a camera, if not a few of the game, take some of yourself with the field in the background....eat your meal before or after game, just enjoy a snack....youll save $$.....you can even bring a bottle of water, uunopened into most arenas/stadiums, incase its hot... binoculars!.. (for the cheerleaders of course)......enjoy
