Well hello, that is right I am off to my 1st Football game . Headed to the Bears vs Panthers game this Sunday.

What advice or just any words of wisdom on what to do and how to make the most of this experience .

Tailgate for sure! Make sure you have time to check out the stadium before the game starts. And stay till there is no time left on the clock! Never leave early!

Get there early to enjoy the tailgating and tour the stadium. Also give yourself enough time to find parking and your stadium entrance before the game, my first time to a Texans game i tried leaving an hour before game time (live about 20 minutes away) and ended up losing alot of time figuring out the parking entrance (color coded parking lots) and did a whole circle around the stadium looking for my seats. Needless to say it was almost the end of the 1st quarter before i finally was in my seat.

Bring enough money to spend on food and drinks, not sure about prices where you're at but down here at reliant it's about $8-$10 for food items and anywhere from $8-$13 bucks for beverages depending your drink of choice.

Finally if you do drink, control it. Don't be the obnoxious drunk guy that ruins everyone elses time and ends up getting his ass kicked for running his mouth.

Wow .. out of 16 comments only , i would say 3 really good ones , yet this is the only one where it is not bashing me for my Aztec genes in grammar , or has some sexual conotations , and actually gave advice.

thanks man. yeah we are thinking of taking the train downtown and walking it to the stadium. Soldier field is about 1 mile away from station. and about drinking .. i know its a pretty penny and i for one can say i can and know how to drink ..

Bring a flask of hard alcohol to fend off the cold, I do scotch or whiskey.
Is soldier bleacher seats like most of lambeau? if so bring something to sit on or your arse will be numb before half time.
Lots of hand warmers are a good idea too, you can open more as you need them. these first three are really only if its cold out, I don't know what your gametime temps are supposed to be.
If you have to use the bathroom go before the end of quarter or start of halftime, lines for dudes move quick but are really long.
get a brat or in your case probably Chicago hot dog, for some reason the taste so much better inside of the stadium then at home. plus in Wis and Ill it's like a right of passage.

Carrying a poncho is never a bad idea.

be respectful of other fans, especially opposing and have fun!
