If Jamarcus Russell had Adrian Peterson as a RB, he would still be in the NFL! Ponder is still one of the worst QB in the NFL!

Probably not related, but since getting married, Ponder is 32 for 58 for 408 and 4 TDs (no picks).

25% of games with a QB rating above 100
50% of games without an interception
18 TDs to 12 INTs
Completed 62% of passes

I'd take him over Fitzpatrick, Sanchez, Weeden, Gabbert, Locker, Cassel, Cutler (yeah, I said it), Palmer and the Cardinals trio of QBs.

agreed and Ponder is putting up those very good numbers with only one halfway decent receiver in Harvin who plays most but not all the time. There are at least 10 QB's in the league who easily couldn't put up the same numbers with the type of support Ponder has

screw Adrian Peterson, guy can't run at all. 15 Yards after his first run, what a bust!

actually saw this fail fest live... I would take Ponder in a heart beat of this bum. I would rather ride or die with Henne then the slow death Gabby puts you through..

Christian Ponder can't outsuck Blaine Gabbert any day all day. How do you lead your team to a "2" point game?

Yes...yes he is

Christian Ponder will never play another down for the Vikings as long as Cassel stays healthy.

It makes me sick that Cassel wasn't the starter from day 1.

With the way Cassel is throwing today, Ponder will be sitting his arse on the bench for a long time. Finally the Vikings games are fun to watch again.

i agree 100% with this comment! if we wanted Ponder i am pretty sure we could of landed him as an undrafted FA.

And so marks the end/phasing of the Ponder era. About a season overdue.

Dude is still terrible, granted, he's not playing in Haley's system anymore, so that might help lol.

Yeah, it was just one game, so I am not getting crazy excited about it. Maybe the change of scenery is good for everyone.

Todd Haley has that kind of effect on QB's, that guy's system is bad.
