I'm considering buying my first case, just not sure which product. For case breakers-what specifics do you take into account? Are you trying to have the most fun or hit the biggest card? All help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I havent never bought a case but I have considered it and the things I looked for were
-Price -Number of Hits, mainly # of autos -The rookie class -If the bigger names were redemptions or not -How well singles sell from it or how well that particular product has done in previous seasons if its going to be a pre-sell item

Have you ever seen those flow charts if you are trying to diagnose an illness? If you answer yes or no the arrow takes you to another question, then another until you get the final answer. I actually made one like that for case breaking. I listed all pros and cons from years of expierence and I follow my chart to decide whether or not to bust a case. I figured in things such as number of base sets that can be completed, price per hit, number of parallel subsets, number of insert sets, how close to release day I would receive the case and so on. Do what makes sense for you but the biggest concerns should be price per hit.

The one that says "Beer" on the side. Only case I'd ever buy.

When I bust cases I usually look at
Price, Hits, and return risk. I like roughly 40% back almost gaunteed if I sell. I know Im most likly not going to come out ahead, but as long as I enjoy the Break Its fine. I loved 2009 Upper deck, I want to say I broke it around $330 a case, 1 Premiere auto, 1 Rookie Same Day Signature and 1 Cut Auto per case, plus 3 Hits per box. It was a very low risk fun case to bust. I Like Exquisite, but I would say im not a High end case breaker, I stay away from Triple threads, Bowman Sterling anything that runs $75+ a pack, im not a big fan off for enjoyment. Its fun, but way to quick.
