are you really that much of a petulant child about "the SEC" that you cant have a grown up conversation?

did you even read my post at all?

Im actually an SEC fan (being a UT and Vandy fan and all..glad they have won somany BCS titles)

but the fact you cant take another opinion and discuss without becoming irritated and turn into a child is quite pathetic

I agree. I actually posted tonight on my facebook that Notre Dames defense is legit. They have aso played pretty good teams and tonight they gave up the first rushing TD all year and it was a QB scramble. I think if they run the table they should be in the title game but it wont happen. To bad because Brian Kelly has done a lot to turn them around so quickly

Anyone who thinks ND defense is better than Bama's is quite pathetic. I HATE Bama, and honestly, I am glad UF doesn't have to meet them in Atlanta as of right now. Bama's defense could stop 6 NFL teams from scoring, to be honest. Bama is the best team in the country, on both sides of the ball. Period.

McCarron picked apart our shoddy secondary and Bama was up 23-10 at Half...30-10 late 3rd quarter...

meaning Bray was having to chuck the ball being so far behind...

what are you not getting about my statement that Bama is good all around, that they help each other out?

offense scores..defense stops..offense scores again..defense gets stop...team is now in a deficient so have to rely on a more passing heavy attack...resulting in more 3 and 4 and outs..which also means less scoring

im not so sure why you cant comprehend that its not Bama's defense is so great..thats its the combined team that helps each other be good

Die hard ND fan here, but I gotta say Alabama's got the best defense. Opponents have the complete inability to move the ball against them. But if ND's defense is second to Bama's, I'll gladly take it. Both defenses are obviously elite and the best two in the nation

Their secondary is their weakness, yes. OU tried to exploit by having Landry Jones throw over 40 times and they still didn't have a passing TD. It's the front 7 that makes up for their weakness in the secondary by constantly pressuring the QB. Barkley will give them problems like he always does, that's going to be a tough game.

Alabama has the best defense in college football, hands down. Even being an LSU fan, as a college football fan, I would love to see Oregon vs. Bama in the Nat'l Championship Game.

Alabama has the best TEAM and will prove it again this year. ND has a solid defense especially in the red zone but it was the ball control in the second half by their offense that won that game. That and a very questionable decision by Stoops.

Why does a coach who's team is throwing the ball at will, who's defense has been worn down and is trailing in the game punt from the other team's 36 yard line on 4th and 5 ???? That's such a low percentage play because most of the time it's a touch back. Yes they got what they wanted as it was downed inside the 5 BUT ND moved it out in a couple plays against his tiring defense and took any momentum OU had right back. I hate that call, especially when trailing.

This is my opinion as well. I live and breathe ND football, but Alabama's defense is superior. But like you said, I'll settle for having the second best behind them. And Te'o is the best player in the country on either side of the ball.
