Default Tebow to the Jags?

This rumor seems to be gaining steam.
Could the Jets trade tebow to the jags before the deadline?

Most Jets fans would rather see Tebow over Sanchez right now, but that doesn't say much.

He is clutch and took a last place team past the defending AFC champs in the playoffs. And he brings in the fans along with money.

I think it ended many moons ago to be honest. Never looked like an NFL QB, just a jittery college tryout.

Even though he (Tebow) doesnt look the best by any means, you can't deny the man is a winner and wins games.

You must not be hearing the boos when they take Tebow out either then.

From my understanding, even if they do trade foe Tebow then he would just be a wild cat option kind of a player for now. In my opinion, they would be foolish not to trade foe Tebow just for the revenue he would bring in! I'd offer a 4th and see if the Jets bite but as long as it's a 3rd round pick or lower then it's a pretty good idea for the Jags. I was reading an article today about this and they tape off around 10,000 seats a home game just to avoid lockouts, with Tebow just on the team you can be guaranteed that a ton more fans will show up just to see their home town hero. Probably won't help the team win games but it will help them earn money!

I wish one team would get him and let him start the full 16 game season. And then we can bash him or praise him.

Putting a game in 3 or 5 plays a game is a joke.I am not ready to throw Tebow under the bus.He really hasnt had a full chance of playing. And with the little time he did have,he has done better than a high percent of rookie qb's in the modern age.

I would consider last year his rookie year,he got his feet wet. Now,its time to put him in a starting role and let it sort itself out. After that point we can all bash him and say he sucks.

You wont like this, but i think he would do wonders in 49er land or stayed in Denver.Rarely does a qb come out looking like fresh flower and they are going to make mistakes.Yeah he cant throw you say?He has made many passes that have fooled us all.Let him work out with Steve Young or Warren Moon and learn something from a true vet of the game.

Is it just me or does anyone else think Tebow will have played for 10+ teams when his career is all said and done?

I really, really hope this happens. Maybe the jets can acquire some draft picks or a decent player.

I know what he did, but there is a difference between what Denver had to help him and what the Jags have to help him. I wish him the best and not trying to bash him but like another said I would like to see him start a few games and see what happens.

If Tebow gets traded AGAIN already...his career is pretty much over imo.

Not his athletic ability..or his ability to play the Wildcat as a gimmick..but as a pure QB, its over.

Just look at Alex Smith...he was a #1 pick, yet he had to constantly learn from new head coaches and new Offensive Coordinators.

It took him til just a few seasons ago to even be a decently solid starting QB, and there are still people out there who dont think he should be a starter. Granted, he also dealt with some injuries..but point still stands.

This would be his 3rd organization and 4th set of coaches in 3 seasons...think about that.

Jaguars will sell lots of tickets to fans of Tebow from his Florida days. That's all the motivation they need, any good businessman would happily give up a mid-late draft pick for those extra seats being filled for a struggling team.

When did it start?

If anybody thought he was going to be a good QB,they're just insane

This is exactly what they are going for. Nobody wants to go see Gabbert suck complete A$$ out there every week. I think it would be great for the team that most casual NFL fans don't even know of hahaha
