That might be a rhetorical question. I think I did pretty well here. Do you guys think I should try to bump it to a 9.5? What do you think the values are at BGS 9 and BGS 9.5?

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. Maybe try to get it bumped to a 9.5 at raw card review. Either way (BGS 9 or 9.5) wait it out for a playoff run, which is very possible.

Great deal. The other version sold for $475 back in Sept. I think it's closer to a $300 now.

What I don't understand is it's an 1/1, so why people care about the grade? It's not like you can find the same 1/1 at 9.5 or 10. That's why I think it's not good to grade 1/1 cards.

I agree, but not everyone does. That's why people grade. It only takes 1 person who thinks it's worth more to make it worth it. Out of curiosity, why are his prices dropping?

I do it for the peace of mind. For a high-end 1/1 I will gladly pay $10-$15 to avoid some clown claiming it's off centered or has a dinged corner or something.
