I picked up about 250 GU'd cards from my LCS, and one of them has me perplexed. I typically deal in baseball so hope one of you can help me. The card in question is, as best I can tell, a 1999 Upper Deck Ovation A Piece of History card. The issue is that mine is hand-numbered "7/32" on the front, whereas, none that I can find on eBay or in Beckett database are serial-numbered. Any help with this?
![]() I searched buy backs and couldn't find anything either. LMK, thanks! Erik

I'm not sure on this card, but a number of cards from that period were fraudulently marked with numbering by dishonest "businessmen" trying to prey on unknowing collectors.
I'll check some of my references to see what I can turn up--as far as it being a legitimate numbered issue. |
