Doug Matin Rookie Premier Sold for $95.00

Sold my Doug Martin Auto #50/90 for $95.00. I was offered BIN at $50.00, and I was told the BV was $60.00. Honestly, I do not believe his stock would be any higher than what it is now. I knew it would sell quick, and a 24 hr auction was the best bet to go. Do you all think $95.00 is a good finishing price, or did I lose a great card for a low price? I am new to buying boxes and selling cards, so please inform me a bit. Thanks!

I think that was a great price. It should simmer down after a few mediocre games. Unless he keeps this pace up..

I agree. Price will die, especially if the Bucs don't make the playoffs. Pick up another one then.

That's what I figured! I literally bought a jumbo box sunday morning, and that card was in the first pack I opened. What do you know, 250+ rushing yards and 4 TD's lol! Thanks for the feedback, you all eased my mind of thinking I made a bad decision, since I'm new to re-selling.

He had almost 200 yards on 3 of his carries, he's not doin that again, he'll come way back down to earth moving forward without half his OL who are on the IR

Sell now for what you can or hold until next year, his value will not be this high again this year

He has had 2 games with over 250+ total yards and has 800 yds rushing and 250 receiving and only half way through the season. We will see after the next 2 games how they do but I think his cards will stay high for at least 2 weeks. He plays the #4 D but they are the Chargers and small backs play well historically against them. They still allow 85 yds a game average to an average RB, the Chargers have not faced a great RB this yr yet, and next week panthers are 20th so I think will see both games martin with 130-140 yds and 2 tds a game. He is projected top 5 RB this week by the pros

Just look at that, was selling for 175-200 steady a few weeks ago. Since when it was selling for 175-200 he beat Tom Brady, lost to SF where the announcers continually blamed the wrs, and threw 3 TDs in the first half vrs minnesota. LOL

Im really pissed I bought the platinum 1/1 doug martin auto for 255 a while back and it got lost in the mail for 3 weeks, then showed up empty with a usps bag over it. How much would I get for that right now? 1k? More? I dont even wanna know, gonna go throw up now bye. lol

You did well. I bought 7 of these when Topps released at an average of about $35. I thought this guy would be good then and he is starting to really shine. He has completely turned the Bucs offense around along with Vincent Jackson. Freeman must love these 2.

I agree. Vincent Jackson is a good player who gets no hobby love at all. Him and Marques Colston are very under rated recievers. Maybe not underrated but under the radar so to speak. I imagine by the time Colston is done playing he will have great career stats. Having Drew Brees as your QB will do that for your numbers.
