2012 Topps Chrome Prices

Have anybody contacted their LCS to see what a box of 2012 Topps Chrome are going for when released. Over here they are $90 a box. I see them going for a much at $105 a box online, which is ridiculous since I was paying $75 last year.

My LCS told me the other week that they will be selling them for $79.99 I believe.

One told me 85.00 and he could only reserve 2 boxes for me, the other said we dont know how much yet we don't do pre-orders

Some shops can not afford to do pre orders. When you pre order you get a better price. But you are out that money months ahead of time. When you go through a distributor, you pay COD so you aren't out the money months ahead, and you even get a couple days to make money on the product before the check gets cashed if need be

My LCS said 65-75/box, I guess we'll see. He should have them next week, he never gets anything on time.

I was more rolling my eyes at the fact they wouldnt' even give me a price.
