Default Has anyone ever had over 100 Yards on a Drive?

Like has any 1 player ever had over 100 Yards on a drive, Recieving, Rushing or Passing?

I doubt it but have always been curious.

As did Manning/Cruz

It is impossible to have 100 yards on a drive/TD play. Bunch of 99 yard ones.

My goodness...was just thinking of the longest one off the top of my head. No need to overreact...

Obviously it's impossible to do unless there are penalties on the drive.

Rushing for 8 then Offensive Holding then Bust it for 95 over 100 on a drive.

Gain a few yards, false start/holding, long pass.

Not if there are penalties or negative plays on the drive.

As BostonNut said, the only way it is possible is if there are a bunch of negative plays or penalties. As of now it has never happened.

I know this isnt a single player, but the Packers had 125 yards in 1988 on one drive

Kinda comparable to a four strikeout inning in baseball. But that has happened way more.

Any proof? I would be willing to put money down that in the history of football it has happened.

Ok, in recorded history it has never happened, I cannot speak for the 20s and 30s

It's obviously a stat that is not kept track of but back in the early 1900's when teams were built around one player...I would be certain it happened.

I went to the play by plays for many of the All time reciving Rushing and Throwing records in a single game. I assume that one of them would be the only ones that would have recived for over 100 yards in a drive, But now that I think about it, thats kind of an unfair assumption to make, so maybe someone has done it, who knows?

I would think if you can find a list of 80 or 90+ yard TDs and take a look at drives that would help but I havnt had luck finding a list similar to that.

Good question. Not sure why so many people are saying it's impossible since you're talking one player. One person can have 100+ yards with other players losing yards receiving/rushing or sacks or penalties. Certainly possible. Seems weird it hasn't happened if it truly hasn't.

Exactly. I'm %80 certain it has happened in the last 30 or so years. I mean think about it...you have a drive that starts at the 1. A back goes for a 45ish yard run. The next play gets called back for holding. The back then busts one for 30. Another penalty or two and a few more runs by that back and it's done.
