Default And Miami Fans Are Witch Hunting Again...lol

Well what can I say we get beat by the Titans by over 30 points but people are calling for Tannehill's head already? Most calling for him to be benched for Matt Moore and some are even saying to cut him . I swear the Miami fan base is one for some laughs but most of the time I feel more embarassed to be associated with the Dolphins because of the fans not hardly ever the team. Ever since they did the same thing to Henne and chanting for Orton at TC. They love to ride the good times but if things dip down for a week everyone's fighting for life savers jumping ship. Crazy...

/Rant lol

What have you done for me lately.....

A little too early for the Tannehil Lynch Mob.

You can hear what they're chanting over the commentary.

Tannehill is a WR turned QB, he was not a true first round prospect, but out of desperation the Dolphins had to make a move. He only started 19 games in college against mediocre defenses to boot. However, his supporting cast is as bad as he is if not worse so right now it is simply a disaster

Don't lump us all into this group. I will stick with my Phins until the end. I have 29 years invested in them already, and I'm not about to quit now. However, some will always be quick to jump ship when things get ugly. Just as I have said for almost 30 years, there's always next year. (Btw, I still like Tannehill at QB, but I thought Moore filled in nicely last year, too.)

Miami fans for the most part are jokes. Did you see the Stadium on Sunday? It was empty. It was embarrassing. The Bills last night had a sold out stadium on a Thursday night in the cold. It's a shame too, because Dolphin fans all around the country show up to support them when they come to their town (for me when they play the Jets), yet the fans in Miami can't show their support. They are the most fair weather fans around.

I wouldn't say Miami fans are a joke, I'd say you'd have to look at them as a whole. We've been crushed by two World Series deconstructions of the Florida (Miami) Marlins.. The Miami Dolphins have had nothing but turnover since Dan Marino left them - The Florida Panthers again, same boat as the Marlins, have lost tons of great players since their Stanley Cup game... and the Miami Heat are one if not THE most scrutinized team in the NBA.

We're just bitter party people

Same - I'm still a die-hard Dolphin fan =)

Watch me play my little violin for you having to suffer with winning that NBA championship and those two World Series.

what exactly does any other sport have to do with football?

Boston has had what at least 2 terrible seasons in a row..ye fans still show up to the stadium...

Bruins have had years of mediocrity..between deep playoff runs and the Cup a few years back...

and the Patriots..well they show up regardless (see: the no Tom Brady year)

i dont buy into the whole 'weve been destroyed sports wise" as an argument for not supporting a team.

Says the Jets fan. LOL

I still think playing Tanne was an entire waste of the great defense that was assembled and still think Tanne was a waste of a high pick. Said that from draft day, he needs to prove me wrong. Don't think he will.

alot has to do with the fact that south florida is a major transplant area, seems like everybody is from somewhere else(including me), and then a large part of miami is cuban community- maybe not t he biggest football fans- they like baseball better...so in a stadium that holds 76,000 its hard to fill with true dolphins fans. you get "football" fans, fans of any decent visiting team, and especially fans of NorthEast region teams(jets/pats/steelers/etc..)when they r in town..... Marlins have same problem...

Don't ever accuse me of such a disgusting thing! I'm a Dolphins fan and was saying I go to the Meadowlands every year they come up to play the Jets. I was actually really nervous when Tanne was drafted, but after seeing him play, I became a fan. I think this team is better right now playing Matt Moore, but I think they are better in the long run with Tanne.

Awesome Marino collection btw, love when you post updates.

I went dyslexic last night and thought you S/N read NYJets. I apologize.
I definitely think Moore should have started this year. He played with fire last year and may have been the only person on the team who cared.

Thanks for the compliment. Hope to add a few cards worth flashing off in the following week.

Dude...you're a Chad Henne fan...shouldn't you be ranting about that????

Or...maybe a rant about living in Indiana?
