Topps...verdict is unanimous?
 

Everyone loves it....or so it seems...i haven't seen one complaint

Did Topps purposely save the good stuff for Chrome? Or is it a sign of things to continue?? Five Star has a BIIIIIGGGG shoe to fill...especially after last**ERRRRR this years Exquisite....

From the pics I've seen, I really think Strata could be the show stopper/scene stealer this year!

Topps Chrome is always awesome, because Topps hasn't really figured out a way to screw it up yet. Give them another year or two...

Strata does look interesting, enough that I preordered 2 boxes! (I'm just a poor boy...:D)
We will see how it looks/feels in hand.

Chrome is the one thing Topps does right every year...even though its pretty much a clone of the base Topps set with a few twists...still lots of color and shiny stuff, can't go wrong there.

Not sure how they can go wrong or save the good stuff. They take the regular product and put a chrome finish on it sprinkle in some color for the kids and done :)

2008 & 2010 Chrome Baseball (horrible, absolutely horrible), 2007-2009 Chrome Football (no color).

Ah. I don't touch baseball, and those Chrome Football cards are before my time. :D

Topps does need to up the "refractorness" of its refractors though--for the past couple of years their refractors have less "refractorness" to them. Compare a 2012 or 2011 refractor to a 2009 or earlier to see what I mean.

I sent out a refractor lot this morning after having sorted through it like 4 times, and I was [I]still[/I] finding base cards in there.
