Thanks for mentioning that, since it's already been mentioned. Just another SEC hater. Like I have said before, we play ELITE in conference teams just about every week, we deserve a break every once in awhile. Don't see Oregon or K State loading up with tough nonconference games to go along with their pitiful conference schedule.

You mean "Elite" like 5-6 Ole Miss or 4-7 Arkansas or 4-6 Tennesse or 5-5 Missouri and 3-8 Auburn?

Not sure anyone can debate that the SEC schedule is the gauntlet. That is just plain hating.

I didn't say they were overrated. The top half of the conference is the best in the business. The bottom half is putrid.

You act as if these teams dont have a history or rivalry or anything...

UT: Fla, UGA, Bama have been playing each other for how long now? no matter how bad each or both teams may be...its still rivalry games andwill be played tough...

Bama has played Auburn how many years now?

its like that for any conference...conference games are usually tough and played close within any conference, no matter records..

the only team this doesnt apply to is ND..since they dont "belong" to a conference

did I quote you as saying so? every conference has some balance to it, and there are teams that will thrive and teams that will not...then there are teams that are the pivot-man if you will...a Baylor...maybe it's your team for a season...

For instance, Vandy is usually in basement of the of the SEC as far as FB and they are just fine with that because when it comes to revenue sharing, they cash the MOFO in on the success of the rest of the SEC...

Over under number of years until Oregon goes on a bowl ban... We all know its coming.. This was their chance this year. They go from title game to not even making the Rose Bowl... Exposed again like they have been anytime they face a solid defense doesn't matter the conference.

I don't run around here talking garbage about other teams. Oregon was out coached and out played. Stanford came to play and the ducks played flat. I was at the game, nobody left their seats for 10 minutes after because they were in shock. Im one of the few looking on the bright side. 6 years ago Oregon and I were at the Las Vegas bowl LOSING to BYU and this year we have the chance to play in the Fiesta Bowl or the Rose Bowl. Im just glad that the ducks past years of playing in Sun bowls, Las Vegas bowls, and Holiday bowls (I actually enjoyed those) is over.

Hell, Vandy isn't too bad at Basketball either.

They're also like Baylor in that they are GPA boosters for the rest of the conference.

The SEC cannibalizes itself every year. I will admit my Razobacks have been pretty bad this year, lots of injuries and really poor offensive line play have robbed the team of it's ability to be dangerous on offense. Plus losing 3 WR's and a few good defenders doesn't help either (oh yeah, that Bobby guy thiking with his wrong head certainly didn't help).

Oh well, there's always next year.
